                The most common mistake that many people make when purchasing new flooring for their garage, is that they feel they have to get the most expensive kind in order for them to be happy.  This is absolutely not the case, as what you should first do is consider exactly what you will be using your garage for when it is all finished.  The reason for this is because there is a difference between a garage floor that you would use to park a classic car in or a garage floor that you are going to primarily use for a workspace.  Hence, if you are someone that is simply going to use their garage as a showroom for your classic vehicle, you may want to get something that is less durable and more fancy or stylish.  There is nothing like parking your classic on top of a garage floor that helps your vehicle stand out and shine.  One of the most popular options when considering this is a checkered flag design.  On the other hand, if you are someone that is going to use their garage as a workspace or workshop, you would rather want something that is much more durable and easy to clean. 

 

                There are two options you have when considering a garage floor tiles for a workspace or workshop.  The first is to simply put a sealant down over top the existing cement or concrete.  The sealant will help keep the concrete or cement protected as well as making it very easy to clean, which is necessary for a garage that may be used for wood, chemicals and other materials.  The other option you have is a mat style flooring.  Mat style flooring is very easy to install, as it is just like putting together a puzzle and if one or more of the pieces were to get damaged, you can easily replace them.
